The Super-Glide Canada team has been busy putting on public events such as this one in Montreal. Watch these figure skaters as they perform on Super-Glide Ultra synthetic ice panels for the first time.

V. Gorkov, our Global Synthetic Ice representative in Nizhnevartovsk Russia, has opened a new public synthetic ice skating rink. In the photos below, you will see children and families enjoying a group skate, as well as youths practicing hockey. Congratulations on another successful Super-Glide installation!

Dean Sprung, of Super-Glide Canada, recently sold the first backyard Super-Glide rink ever set up in Ontario, Canada! A family near Ajax, Ontario is enjoying year-round synthetic ice skating on their new 20' x 40' outdoor rink. The owner chose new Super-Glide Ultra synthetic ice panels for this rink, and built a wood deck using a double layer of plywood to create an inexpensive base for the installation.

Global Synthetic Ice - Anywhere, Anytime, Any Size!

Exciting news from Niki Warchola, our distributor in Germany. Germany is making a bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympics in Munich! The video below is a film titled "The Festival of Friendship" scripted and directed by Jens Hoffmann of F24 Productions GmbH to contribute to that effort.

That news is exciting in itself, but what was of particular interest to us here at Global Synthetic Ice is that our product, Super-Glide synthetic ice, is used in the movie! About half-way through the film, the girl in the photo above is shown practicing figure skating at her home in the Swiss Alps on a cleverly disguised Super-Glide home rink. How cool is that?
