Here is another great video Niki Warchola sent us from the HockeyDOME in Germany. Watch closely, you'll see not only hockey practice and games, but also the very social sport of CURLING! This variation is different from Scottish Curling as we've seen in recent Olympic games, it is called Bavarian Curling (or Eisstockschießen, German for "Ice Stock Sport"). There are no "sweepers" and it is not a strategic game like the Scottish version. Bavarian Curlers merely hurl for distance or to get closest to a target.
