Two bits of Global Synthetic Ice news from Kansas this week!
First, Towne West Square, a major shopping mall in Wichita, Kansas now has a Super-Glide synthetic ice rink. The facility, called "Glide Plaza" is owned and operated by Salvador Marroquin. The 28' x 74' rink opened last week and is expected to become a major fixture in the mall.
Next, a bit of a blast from the past for us from the Jack Kilby Square Ice Rink in Great Bend, Kansas. This very successful Super-Glide rink was installed in 2002 and is being upgraded with our newest Super-Glide Heavy Duty
with our Patent Pending assembly method. Even after nine years of public use, they are able to sell their used rink to help with purchasing the updated new facility!
